John E. Wander - Founder & Managing Director
Mr. Wander is the Founder and Managing Director of GiantStep Angel Network, LLC.
Prior to founding GiantStep, Mr. Wander was a Principal at Stonegate Partners in Boston, MA. Stonegate is an early stage private equity firm for companies in the technology, energy, and health sciences sectors. During his tenure at Stonegate he personally placed over $17 million of seed and early stage private equity. Mr. Wander was a former partner of Galaxy Theatres, Inc. based in Los Angeles and was responsible for completing the first round of start up venture capital. Today, Galaxy Theatres owns and operates over 80 screens, which places them in the top ten percent by size in their industry. Previously, Mr. Wander was a Senior Vice President at American Finance Group (now Equis - Merchant Bank) in Boston, MA. At AFG, he was responsible for raising private capital to finance the housing for Boston University’s International Student Program located in Sydney, Australia & Washington DC. Before joining AFG, Mr. Wander spent five years as Vice President of Winthrop Financial Associates. Winthrop is a private investment banking company headquartered in Boston, MA. Mr. Wander was based in the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.
Mr. Wander has an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business & Management at Pepperdine University. Mr. Wander is a graduate of California State University, D.H. with the degree of Bachelor of Science - Business Administration Finance. Mr. Wander holds a Series 7, 22, and 63 License.

Tim Dailey - Advisor
Tim Dailey is a member and advisor to GiantStep Angel Network, LLC. He founded ClearCreek Partners in 1999 to assist technology companies in the capital raising and M&A process. Since 1999, ClearCreek's clients have raised over $200 million of capital from leading domestic and international institutional investors.
Prior to founding ClearCreek, Tim was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance department of Shoreline Pacific Equity, an investment bank headquartered in Sausalito. Prior to Shoreline Pacific, Tim was a Vice President at HW Jesse & Co, where he served as a strategic and financial advisor to several early-stage high-growth companies and helped them raise over $50 million of venture capital and angel financing.
Prior to joining HW Jesse Co, Tim worked for JP Morgan in M&A and Equity Capital Markets in New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. Prior to JP Morgan, Tim worked in Corporate Finance at Dillon, Read & Co in New York City.
Tim serves on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of three high tech companies, and holds a BA from Williams College (with one year at Oxford University) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Jim Drury - Advisor
Jim Drury is a member and advisor to GiantStep Angel Network, LLC. He is the Chairman, CEO, and Founder of BenefitStreet, Inc., a leading application service provider that provides an automated web-based administration platform for financial advisors, 401(k) plans, and third party administrators. Jim previously held financial management and M&A positions at Baxter International and Abbott Labs, and has previous experience with high volume financial exchanges at the Chicago Stock Exchange CSE, Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). Mr. Drury holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.

Stephen Street - Technology Advisor
Stephen Street is a member and technology advisor to GiantStep Angel Network, LLC. He founded StreetFire Sound Labs to create sophisticated digital media products at the frontier of home entertainment. A serial entrepreneur, Stephen spun StreetFire Sound Labs out of Red Rocket Computing, his networking technology incubator and venture investment company, in 2002.
Prior to Red Rocket, Stephen was the Europe-based Vice President and Chief Engineer at ICOMNET/Esprit Telecom, a pioneer in satellite TCP/IP applications. Stephen had previously developed mission critical distributed computing applications for a variety of Department of Defense weapons systems, including the B-2 Stealth bomber and the Tomahawk cruise missile system. Stephen has a BS degree from California State University in Computer Science, with an emphasis in Systems Software.

Eric Stein - Advisor
Eric Stein is a member and advisor to GiantStep Angel Network, LLC. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Epic Ventures, LLC, an investment company specializing in "alternative investments." Previously, Mr. Stein served as CEO of a large public charity and oversaw the growth in its assets from $250 million to $480 million.
Mr. Stein's prior experience includes five years as a consultant to the philanthropic community, providing advisory services to over 100 client institutions nationwide.
Mr. Stein serves on the boards of several charitable institutions.
He earned his BA degree at the University of Michigan and his MBA at Columbia University.
